God designed in us the need for friendship. We cannot escape it. We can bury it but cannot escape it. Those living in an isolated existence to escape people are deceiving themselves about needing friendship. We'll take a look at the four types of friendship.

You Can’t Live Beyond What You Can Believe

1. Your Christian walk is the direct result of what you believe about God and yourself.
2. Walking by faith means that you function in daily life on the basis of what you believe. 
3. Your belief system determines your behavior.

Ruth and Boaz demonstrated the principle of kinsmen redemption. Boaz as "Jesus" and Ruth as the "Believer". Jesus is our Redeemer. What does this mean? What mystical way did this happen?

The believers in Rome were divided over special diets and special days. Some members thought it sin to eat meat, ate only vegetables. Others thought it sin not to observe the Jewish holy days. If each had kept his convictions to himself, would have been no problem, but they began to criticize and judge one another. The one group was sure the other group was not at all spiritual.

4 Reasons to Welcome One Another

Summertime is full of weddings! Have you received an invitation? It’s typical for the parents of the bride to send out invitations to many people, with only a percentage of those invited showing up. Many are invited, fewer attend.

Jesus tells a parable about a king who sent out invitations to his son’s wedding. Everything was ready but nobody was coming. Invited guests had varying excuses on why they couldn’t attend. Some has work to do at their home farm, others at their business. 

Our Father in Heaven has sent invitations to all the people in the world. Come to the wedding of my Son, Jesus. What is your reply? Are you too busy with work to come? Have you simply ignored the invitation? Worse yet, have you mistreated the messengers of the invitation? And if so, how do you think the King will respond?

Many are invited, fewer attend. Everyone has excuses.
