Light unto the land of people living in darkness
Sunday Dec 13, 2015
Sunday Dec 13, 2015
As followers of Jesus we have the privilege of opening people’s eyes to their need for Jesus and to the nature of Jesus. We get to turn people’s lives from the power of darkness and the devil to the power of light and the Lord.
How? Through a principle of physics called the expulsive power of the greater force, which says for example, that if you want to rid a room of darkness, you don’t fight against the darkness by trying to karate chop it, rebuke it, or yell at it. You turn on the light, and light—the greater power—will flood the room, expelling the darkness.

Bottom Line - Jesus is the point. In everything, for everything. Do not get distracted in the argument. We need to get to know Jesus and be like Him. Our priority is not to become like the politicians or activists whose message is driven outwardly by media and spiritually by Satan.
What is Jesus’ message and commandment? Love God, love others. Administer His grace. Plant seeds.
The Kingdom of Heaven is here and is at hand.

Church Jesus Style
Monday Nov 09, 2015
Monday Nov 09, 2015
We ask what was church like with Jesus? We remember the sermon on the mount, the preachings to thousands of people who stayed for days and began to get hungry. We recall the church service in the house where the paralyzed man was lowered down.
Jesus’ church services were pretty informal. There was no pomp and circumstance. There were no rituals. He went around teaching etc. and planting the word of God in people’s hearts. He had many small group meetings. Many gatherings. Food and breaking of bread was almost always are part of the event.
