If anyone desires to live comfortably on earth he must bridle his tongue from wicked, abusive, or deceitful words. We must forsake and keep far from evil actions, do all the good he can, and seek peace with all men.  1 Peter 3:8-17

The Old Testament recounts a time when man’s every intent was evil. With just the last couple week’s current events we see that mankind is behaving in the same way as in the days of noah. And in the midst of evil there was a small group of people who God used and protected. They were the righteous of that day. When asked about the Second Coming, Jesus said it will be like in the days of noah…  Matt 24:37-42. 

Deception and Delusion. 2 Thessalonians 2:3-12. The apostasy brings on the Man of Lawlessness. Who is man of lawlessness? What is mystery of Lawlessness? Who is the one that restrains him now?

The Apostasy, the Man of Lawlessness revealed, the Removal of the Restrainer, Deception & Delusion. This is in stark contrast with a view of the Church growing because of a great awakening and Christians taking dominion in all areas of American society.

For God has not destined us for wrath, but for obtaining salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, who died for us, so that whether we are awake or asleep, we will live together with Him. Therefore encourage one another and build up one another, just as you also are doing.

Today we’re going to look at a directive on the aim of Christian life. Of how we should live, knowing the end game of history. It really isn’t that difficult or too long of a list. It is both a Commendation and Exhortation. 

As smart as we think we are, we really are in control of nothing. We pride ourselves in knowledge and reasoning. Free will. Yet, history and life proceed along God’s preordained path. Can the clay criticize the potter?

Are you looking for life solutions? relief from anger? suffering with anxiety or contentious spirit? how bout depression? Is your marriage suffering? do you have spiritual strongholds? are you surrounded by evil? Is your faith wavering?

A master gardener has developed many skills. They have an objective in mind for the plants. They selectively purposefully choose certain types of plants to grow. They consider the conditions of light, moisture, temperature, and most importantly—the soil.
