Bottom Line - Jesus is the point. In everything, for everything. Do not get distracted in the argument. We need to get to know Jesus and be like Him. Our priority is not to become like the politicians or activists whose message is driven outwardly by media and spiritually by Satan.
What is Jesus’ message and commandment? Love God, love others. Administer His grace. Plant seeds.
The Kingdom of Heaven is here and is at hand.

Again the next day, John was standing with two of his disciples. When he saw Jesus passing by, he said, “Look! The Lamb of God!”
The two disciples heard him say this and followed Jesus. When Jesus turned and noticed them following Him, He asked them, “What are you looking for?”

We ask what was church like with Jesus? We remember the sermon on the mount, the preachings to thousands of people who stayed for days and began to get hungry. We recall the church service in the house where the paralyzed man was lowered down.
Jesus’ church services were pretty informal. There was no pomp and circumstance. There were no rituals. He went around teaching etc. and planting the word of God in people’s hearts. He had many small group meetings. Many gatherings. Food and breaking of bread was almost always are part of the event.

Division is one of the central impediments to representing God’s reign to the world. While everyone experiences conflict, those who live in Christ are given both the power and instructions on how to resolve conflict. We must learn the art of forgiveness and to practice it.
The question is not whether we have the capacity to forgive but rather if we have the desire to forgive. Isn’t that really what Jesus was saying to Peter?
